Laser Engraving and Cutting

A guide to PPLD's laser engravers/cutters

Laser Engraving and Cutting at Pikes Peak Library District

Helix and Zing laser cutter

Makerspaces at PPLD provide the community with access to laser engraving and cutting technology at 3 libraries: East Library, Library 21c, and Sand Creek Library.

Access to our makerspaces occurs during location-specific Open Hours, which are designated times the rooms are open for patrons to come in and use the machines. Staff is present to "check out" machines, answer questions, and assist patrons.

Using the lasers in our spaces requires a "badge." To become badged, simply attend a laser badging class at one of PPLD's three makerspaces. Find them on the calendar here.

An Epilog Laser Helix 75 Watt is available at our Library 21c location, and an Epilog Laser Zing 60 Watt is at both East Library and Sand Creek Library.
