Laser Engraving & Cutting

A guide to PPLD's laser engravers/cutters

Laser Engraving and Cutting at Pikes Peak Library District

Helix and Zing laser cutter

Makerspaces at PPLD provide the community with access to laser engraving and cutting technology at 3 libraries: East Library, Library 21c, and Sand Creek Library.

Access to our makerspaces occurs during location-specific Open Hours, which are designated times the rooms are open for patrons to come in and use the machines. Staff is present to "check out" machines, answer questions, and assist patrons.

Using the lasers in our spaces requires a "badge." Please visit the Badging tab on the left of the screen for information on how to complete the badging process.

An Epilog Laser Helix 75 Watt is available at Library 21c, and an Epilog Laser Zing 60 Watt is available at both East Library and Sand Creek Library.

For information on reserving the lasers, visit the General Information tab on the left.
