NOTES FOR KINDLE FIRE USERS:
**PLEASE NOTE: As of 1/14/2022 Amazon will not be removing the OverDrive app from the Kindle Fire store at this time, so even after 2/23/22, users will be able to download the OverDrive app to their Kindle Fire.**
The Kindle app is available for most smartphones and tablets. The app is unnecessary for Kindles, Kindle Paperwhites, and Kindle Fires. Almost all OverDrive and Libby titles are available to read in a Kindle format, but sometimes publisher restrictions make them unavailable. If an OverDrive or Libby ebook is not available in Kindle format, you must use the Libby app, Libbyapp.com, or Overdrive.
Also, be aware the Kindle format is only available for eBooks. Audiobooks must be downloaded through a different method and are therefore not available on non-Fire Kindles.
This step is only necessary for non-Kindle devices. If you have a registered Kindle device, you're ready to start downloading OverDrive and Libby ebooks.
You can now use the OverDrive or Libby apps to browse PPLD's collections from any device.
