What is a Breakout Session?
- Breakout Sessions will be 45 minute sessions where you can present your topic. There will be 3 breakout periods for the day and then a number of different sessions offered in those 3 periods, depending on how many proposals we receive. Select Breakout Session in your proposal submission form if your topic may require more time to present.
What is a Vendor Table?
- A Vendor Table is a table you can staff during breaks and the lunch hour to demonstrate a specific product (like the Catalog), recruit staff to be a part of a team (like the Customer Service Team), or tell staff about a program or service you offer in a small group setting.
What is a Lightning Round?
- A Lightning Round is held during one of the Breakout Sessions. Unlike the Breakout Session that is focused on one topic and presented by an individual or group, the Lightning Round will have multiple presenters that will have up to 5 minutes to present their topic. Select Lightning Round in your proposal submission form if you do not need 45 minutes to present your topic.
Will I have to present to 400+ friendly PPLD faces?
- No, staff will have options on the sessions they want to attend, and you will know ahead of time how many people have signed up for yours.
