This guide offers information about the sewing machines in PPLD's Makerspaces.

JUKI TL-2010Q

Overview

The JUKI TL-2010Q Mid-Arm Quilting and Piecing Machine is a straight stitch semi-professional quilting machine, featuring an automatic needle threader, speed control, needle up/down positioning, automatic thread cutter, an optional table extension, and seven (7) accessory feet. This sturdy metal machine is great for quilting, garment construction, and home decor.

  • Stitches: straight stitch only
  • Stitch length: 0 mm - 6 mm
  • Stitch width: 0 mm
  • Bobbin type: Class L (metal) bobbins

  • Included feet: Standard; Hemming; Zipper; Upper feed presser (i.e., walking); 1/4" Quilting; 1/5" Quilting; Compensating presser
  • Acceptable fabrics: thin, medium weight, stretch, and some thick fabrics (such as corduroy, tweed, or thin denim)

Availability

The JUKI TL-2010Q Mid-Arm Quilting and Piecing Machine is available at East Library.

Sewing Machines are available by reservation at all makerspace locations. Reservations are for 1 to 4 hours, up to 2 times a month. They can be made up to one week in advance. Walk-ins are permitted - even if both reservations have already been used - however, usage of the machine cannot be guaranteed. See the link at the bottom of this box to reserve one of the sewing machines.
