Sewing at Pikes Peak Library District

  • Makerspaces at PPLD provide the community with access to sewing and embroidery machines at 3 libraries: East Library, Library 21c, and Sand Creek Library.
  • Access to our makerspaces occurs during location-specific Open Hours, which are designated times the rooms are open for patrons to come in and use the machines. Staff is present to "check out" machines, answer questions, and assist patrons.
  • Machine availability varies by location. Visit the Sewing Machines tab on the left side of this page and select the machine you are interested in using to see which location provides it.
  • For information on reserving the sewing machines, visit the General Information tab on the left.
