Family Law Day

The in-person portion of the event will feature free one-on-one legal advice. Attendees can receive guidance and advice from an attorney about their family law issue, help from a parenting professional with drafting a parenting plan, or assistance from courthouse staff or a volunteer paralegal with filling out court paperwork. Non-profits will be onsite to provide information about their services. Local attorneys will provide legal informational classes throughout the day. Family Law Day is free to all. The first 50 people to arrive will be eligible to receive a free family law packet. Renter's Rights 101 Workshops

In this workshop Colorado Legal Services attorney Clinton Albert will help participants learn about a wide variety of topics such as lease basics, reasonable accommodations and modifications, deposits, repairs, eviction, and updates on recent Colorado legislation on housing matters. Other community legal and housing resources will be shared. (Presenters cannot provide legal advice for individual situations.) Optional registration allows you to sign up to receive a copy of the slides and event recording.

Colorado Lawyers for Colorado Veterans is a Colorado Bar Association initiative that provides free and low-cost legal services to military veterans. Topics range from veterans’ benefits, taxes, housing, family law issues, criminal, and administrative law.

CBA Pro Se Bankruptcy Clinic

Federal Pro Se Clinic

This free clinic is designed for the pro se (do-it-yourself) civil litigant in federal court. A Clinic Attorney will assist litigants in understanding the civil litigation process and forms as well as answer questions. The Attorney can assist litigants throughout the process from assisting litigants with preparing documents to file with the Court, reviewing court orders, and providing legal advice. Appointments will be for 45 – 60 minutes in duration, and litigants may make subsequent appointments for assistance throughout the process.
