2023 AARP Tax-Aide Income Tax Preparation Assistance to Qualified Filers for Tax Year 2022 - AARP Tax Aide

In partnership with PPLD, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide will host free tax year 2022 preparation assistance for qualified filers at

Library 21c Ent Conference Center, 1175 Chapel Hills Drive, in Colorado Springs starting Feb. 2, 2023.

  • Appointments are made through AARP Tax-Aide.  Appointments may be made by calling (719) 235-6757.
  • Appointments are available at Library 21c on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. from February 2 - April 13, 2023.

Get help in preparing and filing your tax returns! AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free tax preparation services (geared towards low- to moderate-income taxpayers), thanks to a team of IRS-certified volunteers.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free tax preparation help to anyone, and if you’re 50 and older and can’t afford a tax preparation service we were made especially for you. We understand that retirement or other life changes may mean your taxes are a little more complicated now. With the help of our team of IRS-certified volunteers we make it easy for you. There’s no fee and no sales pitch for other services and AARP membership is not required.

2023 IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) Programs for Tax Year 2022

In partnership with PPLD, VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) will host free tax year 2022 preparation assistance for qualified filers at

Penrose Public Library, 20 N. Cascade Avenue, in Colorado Springs starting Feb. 1, 2023.

  • Appointments are made through the VITA program.  Appointments may be made by calling and leaving a message at (719) 208-7775 or reserving a spot online here.
  • Appointments are available at Penrose Library on Wednesdays 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Thursdays 4:30 p.m. -6:30 p.m., Fridays 10:30 a.m.- 2:30pm, and occasional Saturdays.
