Literary Reference Center is a full-text literary database covering all genres and time periods. It includes thousands of synopses, critical essays, book reviews, literary journals and author biographies, plus full-text classic novels, short stories and poems.
NoveList Plus is a comprehensive readers' advisory resource for fiction and nonfiction. With an intuitive interface and extensive proprietary content, NoveList Plus answers the question: What should I read next?
Poetry & Short Story Reference Center is a full-text database containing thousands of classic and contemporary poems, short stories, biographies, essays, lesson plans and learning guides. It also includes high-quality videos and audio recordings from the Academy of American Poets.
This reference set surveys American literature from the early 20th century to the present, featuring a diverse range of American works and authors and a selection of primary source materials. It covers 1900 to the present, profiles authors and their works, and provides overviews of literary movements and genres which offer an understanding of the historical, cultural, and political contexts that have shaped American writing.
Sign up for an online book club. Each day, Monday through Friday, you will be emailed a portion of a book that takes about five minutes to read. If you like the book, you can put it on hold to read in its entirety.
