About this kit

Lego Mindstorms offers the opportunity to build, program, and play. With five core robot builds to choose from there's a robot for everyone! 

 

*You will need to download the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Robot Inventor App to a compatible device for digital building instructions and coding tools. There's also a built-in Help Center which features instructional videos to help get you started. 

 

         
 

How to Reserve Kits

Browse the library's Discovery Kit collection in our catalog. Kits can be reserved and transferred to any branch by placing it on hold. 

They check out for seven days but can be renewed two times as long as there are no holds.

Kits must be returned to a staff member while the library is open. They cannot be placed in a bookdrop.

Getting Started

· First—before you start building, plug in and charge the Programming Brick.

· Lay the kit out on a flat surface

· Familiarize self with parts

· Start the software, pick a robot, and start building and coding!
