How to Use the Vinyl and Die-Cutters at PPLD

  • Die-cutter reservations have changed. Die-cutters are available by reservation at all makerspace locations. Reservations are for 1 to 2 hours, up to 2 times a month. They can be made up to one week in advance. Walk-ins are permitted - even if both reservations have already been used - however, usage of the machine cannot be guaranteed. See the link at the bottom of this box to reserve one of the die-cutters.
  • Machine accessories are provided, including cutting mats and weeding tools.
  • PPLD provides vinyl sheets and cardstock for sale to use with the vinyl and die-cutters:
    • 0.25 cents for a vinyl half sheet (12"x6"), assorted colors
    • 0.50 cents for a vinyl full sheet (12"x12"), assorted colors
    • 0.10 cents for a sheet of 65lb cardstock (8.5"x11"), assorted colors
  • If you are under 18, you must submit a completed Creative Space Use Agreement (link below). You can request one at any makerspace desk, or print one out and bring it to a makerspace staff member.
  • Adults must agree to the Creative Space Use Agreement terms when making a reservation.
