How to Use the Vinyl and Die-Cutters at PPLD

  • Vinyl and die-cutters are available on a first-come, first-served basis at all makerspace locations. There is no time limit on how long you may have a machine checked out, but it must be turned off and checked in by the end of makerspace Open Hours.
  • Note: Make at Library 21c is open all library hours except when the room is reserved for a program or class. Contact a staff member to check availability. Patrons must talk with a staff member at the Make desk to check out machines.
  • Note: The vinyl and die-cutter machines at Library 21c are reservable up to one week in advance. Contact a staff member to make a reservation.
  • Machine accessories are provided, including cutting mats and weeding tools.
  • PPLD provides vinyl sheets and cardstock for sale to use with the vinyl and die-cutters:
    • 0.25 cents for a vinyl half sheet (12"x6"), assorted colors
    • 0.50 cents for a vinyl full sheet (12"x12"), assorted colors
    • 0.10 cents for a sheet of 65lb cardstock (8.5"x11"), assorted colors
  • To use the makerspaces, you must sign and submit a completed Adult Makerspace User Agreement or Minor Makerspace User Agreement (links below). You can request one at any makerspace desk, or print one out and bring it to a makerspace staff member.
