El Paso County Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) is announcing an additional application cycle for the release of CDBG-CV funds. The application process opens Tuesday, September 1, 2020. The funds are intended to prevent, prepare and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over $450,000 is being made available to local nonprofit agencies and participating municipal governments for direct client services such as: rent/utility assistance, employment training and mental health services.
The Energize Colorado Gap Fund will provide more than $25M in small business loans and grants to boost small business enterprises that are the economic engines throughout the state. Sole proprietors, businesses and nonprofits with less than 25 full-time employees can apply for up to a $15,000 grant and a $20,000 loan for a possible combined total of $35,000 in financial assistance. Round two applications are open until October 26th, 2020.
