The first way to submit a drop-off is by using the Google Form linked at the bottom of this box. This form can be used by any PPLD cardholder to request a drop-off as long as the 3D model is uploaded on a free repository, such as Thingiverse, or on an online file sharing service like Google Drive or Dropbox. Sharing files through the Google Form requires a URL link to the file for PPLD staff to download.
To learn more about Thingiverse, visit the Using Thingiversetab on the left of this page.
To learn how to share a link to an STL file saved in your Google Drive or Dropbox, see the links at the bottom of this box.
The second way to submit a drop-off is by bringing in a saved file on a USB drive. The USB drive must be brought to one of the three makerspace desks during their designated open hour times. This option is available for any PPLD cardholder who has created a 3D model themselves or wants to print a file that is not available for free download from a trusted source like Thingiverse.
