Laser Engraving & Cutting

A guide to PPLD's laser engravers/cutters

How to Complete Badging

Using PPLD's laser cutters and engravers requires training, called "badging." To become badged on the lasers, you can complete the online training found on the bottom or this page or attend an in-person badging class at Library 21c, East Library, or Sand Creek Library. Please see the calendar of events for upcoming classes and registration here.

2) Complete the assessment quiz. You must enter your own individual library card number at the beginning of the quiz. If you do not yet have your own library card, please visit the library and register with us.

You must answer all 8 questions correctly, so make sure to pay attention to the video. If you don't get it right the first time, don't worry. Look for the "View Your Accuracy" link after you finish the quiz to see how you did. If you got a question wrong, you can go back and take the quiz again.
